Position Library Director
Main Duties Overall administration of the library, including staff and volunteer supervision, selection of materials, budgeting, grant-writing, and liaison with Library Board, Village Council, New Mexico State Library and Friends of the Jemez Springs Library
Background Judith has an M.A. in Educational Administration. Before taking the job as library director in 1997, she was a middle and high school teacher, college instructor and freelance writer and editor. In 1996, she compiled and published the Jemez Valley Cookbook through her company, Butterfly and Bear Press.  In 2005 she wrote & published "Guide to the Jemez Mountain Trail, National Scenic Byway".
Something you might not know about Judith... She loves demolition derbies and kung fu movies.
Special Interests Reading (of course), writing, hiking, archaeology, bird-watching, grandchildren.
