Local Government

Established in 1955, the Village of Jemez Springs is an incorporated municipality of Sandoval County. The Village Council, composed of the Mayor and Trustees, administers community services and local ordinances. Monthly council meetings are open to the public. The Village Council is made up of the Mayor and Village Trustees. Positions are appointed by local election every two years. The last election was held in March 2010. Current Village representatives are:

Village Council
Meets monthly, usually the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the Village conference room.

Planning and Zoning
Meets monthly, usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm in the Village conference room.
